The Department of Physics invites applications for a postdoctoral position in condensed matter theory. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in physics. Areas of current interest include graphene physics, quantum Hall effects, correlated electron and atomic systems (including Bose condensates), low-dimensional and nanoscale systems, and superconductivity (especially vortex matter.) Initial appointment will begin August 1, 2008 (precise starting date negotiable) and is expected to last two years, subject to satisfactory performance.
Please send a CV and arrange to have 3 letters of recommendation sent to Prof. Herbert Fertig, Physics Department, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN 47405, U.S.A.
