University of Pretoria South Africa Commonwealth Scholarships Tenable in South Africa for Doctoral Studies

The University of Pretoria is one of the top 500* universities in the world. The University of Pretoria is an internationally recognised academic and research leader and offers excellent opportunities and facilities for postgraduate study and research.
Hence, it is seeking candidates who will make a significant contribution to its research endeavour. As part of South Africa’s contribution to the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan, the University of Pretoria has made funds available for two doctoral scholarships for students coming from any of the Commonwealth Countries (excluding South Africa). These scholarships will be known as the University of Pretoria Commonwealth Postdoctoral Scholarship and the University of Pretoria Commonwealth Doctoral Scholarship respectively, which will be awarded on a competitive basis.
The University of Pretoria has established a reputation for academic excellence, particularly in relation to some of its major research activities. Value of Doctoral Scholarship The value of this Scholarship will be R 100,000 (£7,122) per annum.
