PhD Positions in Molecular and Cellular Biology Germany

In Elena Puccetti’s Young Investigator Group recently installed by the DFG at the Institute for Molecular Biology and Tumor Research (IMT), Philipps-Universität Marburg are available two PhD student positions (BAT IIa/2)in Molecular and Cellular Biology. This new group is embedded in the context of the Transregio 17 SFB Marburg/Würzburg.
We will focus our research on the „Role of high molecular weight complex formation for the leukemogenic potential of leukemia associated fusion proteins“.
A better understanding of the composition of the high molecular weight complex -formation by leukemia associated fusion protein and their influence on the signalling pathways controlled by their components would contribute to a better understanding of the pathogenesis of leukaemia and the definition of new therapeutic targets.
We offer long time experience in Molecular and Cellular Biology, surrounded by the excellent scientific environment and infrastructure of the IMT and the medical faculty of the Philipps-University of Marburg.

I am a graduate in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Dar es Salaam Tanzania with a good Upper Second Degree. I have one year expereience in Malaria research.
