Animal Breeding PhD Student Position

Three positions for PhD students are available at TUM - Weihenstephan, Chair of Animal Breeding in the areas of whole genome association studies, genomic selection in cattle and the development of expert systems in animal breeding.
Applicants should hold a university degree (Diploma or MSc) in Biology or Agricultural Sciences. A solid background in molecular and / or quantitative genetics is expected.
Salary will be according to 13 TV-L (50%).
The positions will be available from February 1, 2008.
